I just finished the Seawheez half marathon in Vancouver! Here’s my quick n’ dirty recap:
First, I’m here with about 50 other runners from Austin including two friends.
We brought the heat with us from Texas. It was around 80 degrees when we arrived yesterday. But race morning still started out much cooler than what we’ve been training in and the cloud cover was awesome.
For our lack of training, all three of us felt great about our run. I finished in about 2:15. The run was along the sea wall for the majority and was just gorgeous. It is by far the most picturesque course I’ve ever run on.
Now it’s time for some good stretching before I get out and enjoy this wonderful city! Have a great weekend, friends 🙂
